About
On any given day, Debbie can be found cruising the Kootenays with her golden retriever Sitka, covering ground via car, mountain bike or skiis in search of properties for clients. She prides herself on being up-to-speed on what’s happening in the region to better assist buyers and sellers in the area make informed decisions. A Realtor with experience through all the trials and tribulations of buying, renovating and selling homes: she’s done the hard work so you don’t have to.
Before Debbie started her career in real estate, she spent 10+ years working across Northern Canada as an environmental consultant. This role taught her the value of attention to detail, managing multiple priorities on a tight timeline, and, having spent a lot of time on the road: the value of having a community to call home.
What you can expect from Debbie:
– She’ll give it to you straight. Debbie has a terrible poker face. She’ll be honest and forthcoming with her best advice.
– A “dog with a bone” approach. If you want someone who loves advocating for clients, good luck finding someone better than Debbie.
– The perspective of an experienced homebuyer, renovator and seller. She’ll be happy to weigh in on possible uses and designs of a property.
– An understanding of the community. As a volunteer with Rossland Search and Rescue, member of the Rossland Mudbunnies, and an avid skier, Debbie is connected to community at a grassroots level and will help welcome you to the area.
– Fun. Buying or selling a home can be stressful, but it can also be a lot of fun. Debbie brings a warm, personable, and creative approach to everything she does.
She understands what it takes to ensure the highest quality representation and service (under, at times, high-pressured circumstances) with the utmost of confidentiality and professionalism.
Debbie has an honours-degree in International Development Studies from McGill University and a Diploma in Renewable Resource Management. She lives in Rossland with her partner Mike and pup Sitka. When she isn’t working to provide great service to clients, she can be found mountain biking, ski touring, or hosting friends for dinner.
