Mountain views and excellent sun exposure, this home is perched above Esling Drive in lower Rossland and is a quick walk uptown and just as close to the bike skills park and young-children's playground 'Rossglenn Park'. This section of town seems to lose snow early in the spring compared to other areas of town; some have called it the 'banana belt' of Rossland. This property has off-street parking, a detached garage, a double carport, workshop and greenhouse. The garage has its own gas furnace, work benches, shelving, power, a manual hoist and electric door opener. The double carport is high enough for a travel trailer. The front lawn is flat and fenced, and there's automatic sprinklers on the front and sides and all day sun for anyone considering a garden. The rear covered porch has a hot tub and shade. Inside, this home has polished wood floors, large windows, great natural daylight and... Air Conditioning! Two bedrooms up, third bedroom downstairs. Main bathroom upstairs is updated with a walk in shower plus 3pc bathroom downstairs ready for finishing.

About
I’ve been a Realtor since 2003, a Property Manager since 2010 and the owner and managing broker of Mountain Town Properties since 2011. In this relatively short time, I have already experienced the ups and downs of the real estate market, but it’s obvious that we are living in different times right now. Despite today’s tough market, I believe that everyone deserves to own their own home and to take great vacations to nice places.
My career in real estate began at Panorama Mountain Resort, an Intrawest owned and operated resort at Invermere in the BC Rockies. My employer, Playground Real Estate, was the sales and marketing division for Intrawest’s resort developments. I attended many of Playground’s professional sales training retreats and through that experience I achieved several high performance sales awards.
Most of my experience during this time with Playground was in resort recreational real estate with a focus on new construction, pre-sales and selling off-plan.
In 2005 Playground Real Estate was contracted to pre-sell a 254 unit condominium located east of Seattle, in a historic mining town called Roslyn. This project lasted 6 months for us and I had the experience of my life!
Soon after, Playground dissolved and many of the higher management spun off to start the Canadian franchise of Sotheby’s International Realty Canada. I was contacted to join Sotheby’s at RED Mountain Resort through the current ownership group. Our team was assembled to pre-sell Slalom Creek, Morning Star, The Mountain Project and Caldera.
In 2008/09, when the global economic downturn occurred, I settled in Rossland and worked at Lifestyle Properties, a local real estate brokerage. This is when I saw the demand for rental property management services, so I studied and achieved my Property Management License and began providing short and long term rental services.
In 2011, I formed Mountain Town Properties as a vacation rentals company in response to demand from property owners seeking a fair and equitable system to manage their vacation rental homes. Shortly thereafter, I obtained my license to manage a real estate brokerage and other related licenses. Mountain Town Properties became a fully licensed real estate brokerage and property management company.
My success is met through delivering state of the art technology and software systems, and to employ the best people available for service to our guests and clients. Our business has grown by leaps and bounds; all based on performance and referrals!
The basics of combining property management with real estate sales ring true with the words “nobody knows your property like your Property Manager”. Each discipline is unique, but the combination of the two has been very effective.
In my personal time, while being a mom, I also enjoy golfing, skiing and camping my family. I love working in my yard! I hold a diploma in Turf Management from Olds College and I’ve worked and lived in some of BC’s most beautiful resorts. My goal is to be differentiated by being innovative, technology driven, creative and productive.
In 1990, after skiing for only a year, I participated in the Velocity Challenge: Speed Skiing race and too home the trophy for Most 'Spectacular Speed Skiing Crash': The place – Sun Peaks, British Columbia; the event – Velocity Challenge; the year – 1999; the skier – Jodie Ouimet at her personal best top speed of 137 kilometres per hour.
